Weather in Romania is set to deteriorate with a sudden drop in temperatures and increased precipitation. From October 12 to 14, rain is expected in the southeast, with possible showers. In mountainous areas above 1500 meters, there may be sleet and snow. Rainfall amounts could reach 15-20 liters per square meter, with some areas exceeding 30 liters. Wind gusts will intensify, reaching 45-50 km/h in many regions and up to 90 km/h in the mountains. A yellow warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for several counties in central and southern Romania, with significant rain expected in specific areas.
