Romania is facing extreme weather conditions with heatwaves and storms expected. Meteorologists issued yellow alerts for high temperatures and strong winds on August 8. The heat will persist in several regions, with temperatures reaching 34-37 degrees Celsius. Additionally, strong winds are forecasted, with gusts up to 70 km/h in some areas. A yellow storm alert is also in effect, predicting thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and possible hail in parts of Muntenia, Oltenia, and Transylvania.
