The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has updated its weather forecast for Romania from August 31 to September 28, 2026, indicating above-normal temperatures and a deficit in precipitation, especially in mountainous areas. The forecast predicts warmer temperatures across most regions, particularly in the west, with a significant lack of rainfall in the first two weeks. By mid-September, temperatures will remain elevated, while precipitation levels will approach normal by the end of the month.
