Votul la următoarele alegeri europarlamentare, mai simplu pentru cetățenii UE. Ce schimbare apare? • Newsweek România

The Permanent Electoral Authority proposes new rules to simplify voting for EU citizens living in Romania. This includes online registration for special voting lists, eliminating the need for in-person visits to local authorities. Citizens can register up to 60 days before elections using a digital form, requiring identification and personal information. Responses to registrations will be provided within 10 days, and eligible voters' lists will be sent electronically to local councils. Additionally, the Central Electoral Bureau must publish validation results online within 24 hours. These changes align with new EU directives and will be implemented in the next European elections if approved.
