Vot amânat pentru eliminarea supraimpozitării contractelor part-time
The Chamber of Deputies postponed the final vote on a bill aimed at eliminating the overtaxation of part-time work contracts. Initially scheduled for September 16, the vote has been delayed for over two weeks. The bill, initiated by 63 members of the National Liberal Party, proposes that part-time contracts be taxed based on actual hours worked starting January 1, 2027. Raluca Turcan, a key proponent, highlighted the negative impact of the current taxation system, which has led to a significant drop in part-time contracts in Romania. She emphasized the need for more legal part-time jobs to stimulate the economy and reduce the tax burden on salaries.
