The company reported a 2.01% decrease in shares, following an 8.3% drop the previous Friday. Volkswagen revised its operational margin estimate for 2026 to 1%, citing depreciation related to its stake in Porsche and worsening market conditions, particularly in China. The transition to electric vehicles is also slower than expected. The company's shares have fallen 27.5% this year, nearing their lowest level since 2010. Nokia has replaced Volkswagen in the index, benefiting from AI-related growth. Analysts suggest that the profit warning may exaggerate the core business's deterioration.
