Voicot mediatic fără precedent, la Washington. televiziunile opresc transmisiunile din briefingurile lui Trump • Newsweek România

Major U.S. television networks have decided to stop broadcasting Donald Trump's press briefings, marking a significant shift in their editorial approach. This unprecedented media boycott involves four out of five major networks, including ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, and Fox News, in solidarity with CNN, which was banned from covering the White House. The networks issued a joint statement emphasizing the public's right to accurate information about the government. The boycott follows Trump's suspension of CNN's status as a designated press pool provider, which has left the group without a television representative. This action is also in response to a lawsuit filed by CNN and others against Trump for violating the First Amendment by restricting press access. As a result, no major network will cover Trump's scheduled events, including his appearances at the White House and the United Nations.
