Romanian students will receive their PISA 2025 test results on September 8, highlighting the country's educational challenges. Three years ago, Romania ranked low in the EU across all tested subjects: Mathematics, Reading, and Science. Over 760,000 students from 91 countries participate in the PISA assessment, which occurs every three years. The event will be held at the Central University Library in Bucharest, attended by the interim Minister of Education and featuring a video message from an OECD official. Romania's previous PISA results in 2022 showed a concerning position, ranking 25th out of 27 EU countries, significantly below the OECD average.
