A flash flood in the Grand Canyon, triggered by heavy rains, has resulted in at least one death and around 15 people missing. Over 60 tourists were evacuated by helicopter. The flood caused significant damage along the Bright Angel Creek, altering the landscape and destroying infrastructure, including the only water pipeline serving the area.
