The construction of Section 4 of the Sibiu-Pitești Highway, between Tigveni and Curtea de Argeș, is 99% complete, with traffic opening pending safety tests of the Momaia Tunnel. The section includes 9.86 km of road and 12 bridges, with final adjustments being made to monitoring systems. A final test with ISU representatives is scheduled for late September, and traffic is expected to open this year, ahead of the original deadline. The project is valued at 1.678 billion lei, funded through the 2021-2027 Transport Program.
