The small bypass of Blaj, connecting Tiur to Crăciunelu de Jos, is nearing completion, as announced by the mayor. This road provides an alternative route to Alba Iulia, helping to avoid traffic delays caused by the railway crossing in Crăciunelu de Jos. Markings are being applied, and traffic signs will be installed soon, with the road expected to open around the 15th of this month. It will have a weight limit of 7.5 tons and a speed limit of 50 km/h. The mayor expressed pride in the project, which took nearly four months to complete. This bypass is seen as the first step in alleviating traffic in Blaj, with plans for a larger bypass to be completed by next July. Additional mobility projects are also set to begin soon.
