In response to rising temperatures, Bucharest's City Hall has set up nine cooling tunnels across the city, with the latest in Piața Sălăjan. These installations provide relief during the heatwave, operating daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. The city advises residents to avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours and offers access to over 70 public institutions and 200 partner pharmacies for respite.
