A major international operation, KillSwitch, has led to the arrest of a 16-year-old Romanian in Spain, suspected of being the main operator of the hacking group KillSec. This group is linked to around 1,000 cyberattacks globally, with significant ransom demands. The investigation revealed that the teenager managed the group's infrastructure from his home, while a 24-year-old was arrested in Romania. Authorities have seized five servers and 110 terabytes of data, with the operation involving multiple countries and agencies, including Europol. The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
