The last concrete beam for the A0 highway has been installed, marking a significant milestone in the construction of the Bucharest ring road. This project includes 102 km of highway with 67 bridges and passages, totaling around 5,000 beams. The completion of this infrastructure aims to enhance connectivity in Romania, despite initial skepticism about the project's feasibility. The southern section has seen 2,509 beams installed, while the northern section is expected to have a similar number, including the longest bridge over Lake Cernica.
