Turkey is utilizing underwater robots to search for the wreck of the Filo Jet passenger ship that sank off the coast of Girne, with 16 people still missing. The TCG Alemdar leads the operation, supported by nine ships and 11 aircraft. The ship sank shortly after departing from Girne, taking on water and attempting to return. Authorities have recovered 12 bodies, while search efforts continue at depths of 554 meters. Robotic systems are deployed to inspect the wreck and assist in recovery operations, with teams working around the clock under challenging conditions.
