TAROM has officially welcomed its first Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, named "Mircea Lucescu," at Henri Coandă International Airport. The aircraft was received with a traditional water salute and is part of a fleet renewal plan that includes four new planes. The new aircraft features advanced technology, including improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. Another Boeing 737 MAX 8 is expected to join the fleet soon, named after Ivan Patzaichin.
