The mayor of Sector 3, Robert Negoiță, announced the start of elevated pedestrian crossings construction, initially focusing on 10 locations due to budget constraints. The overall project aims to secure over 1,100 crossings in high-traffic areas, particularly near schools and markets. The initiative includes installing specific lighting, electronic warning signs, and tactile markings for disabled individuals. The total project cost is estimated at 391 million lei, with plans to seek European funding to expedite the process.
