Severe flooding in Bangkok has led authorities to declare a state of emergency across all districts due to continuous heavy rainfall. The downpours have caused significant disruptions, forcing residents to evacuate their homes. Major canals overflowed, with rainfall exceeding 20 centimeters, particularly affecting central and eastern areas of the city. The Thai Meteorological Department warns that heavy rains will persist until Sunday, exacerbated by a low-pressure system and intensified southwest monsoon. Over 84,000 people in 21 provinces have been impacted by the floods, prompting emergency alerts to residents in affected areas.
