The construction of Section 4 of the Sibiu-Pitești Highway is nearing completion, with nearly 97% progress. Drivers may use this section by the end of the year, ahead of the contractual deadline. The section includes the nearly finished Momaia Tunnel and ongoing installation of mechanical and electrical systems. If the contractor maintains the current pace, the section will open this year, despite the official completion date set for February 2027. Once inaugurated, approximately 54 km of the highway will be operational out of a total of 122 km.
