Asphalting has begun at the Constanța Bridge, expected to be completed by mid-week, allowing traffic to resume on two lanes. The work is progressing rapidly, including night shifts, to meet deadlines. The bridge, built in 1938, has only been rehabilitated once before, in the 1980s, and is a critical urban mobility hub. The ongoing project includes new foundations, elastic rail installation, and modern platforms as part of a larger tramway rehabilitation effort spanning 7 km. The city aims to improve the area's infrastructure significantly.
