A Chinese humanoid robot named Lightning has run 100 meters in 9.32 seconds, surpassing Usain Bolt's record. This achievement was showcased before the World Robot Games in Beijing. Lightning reached a maximum speed of 14.5 meters per second, equivalent to about 52.2 km/h. Although this time is not an official record, it highlights the advancements in robotics. The competition featured over 2,000 robots from 16 countries, demonstrating their capabilities in various events. Lightning previously won a half marathon, further showcasing the potential of robotic technology in sports.
