The company sought to protect its intellectual property and expedite the production of a new model. After struggling to find a foundry willing to melt lithium battery-equipped robots, they trained the F.02 robots to jump into a simulated molten steel vat. Schwarzenegger participated in the event, which was filmed and shared. The company plans to create commemorative items from the melted robots' metal.
