European cohesion funds have significantly impacted Romania's economy, with over 50 billion euros allocated since 2007. The Sud-Vest Oltenia region has received more than 3 billion euros in non-reimbursable funds. A recent workshop in Vâlcea brought together entrepreneurs and local authorities to discuss experiences and challenges related to these funds. Participants shared insights on the allocation of EU financing and the implementation of projects, highlighting similarities in challenges across different funding programs.
