The Basarab Passage in Bucharest has reopened to traffic after extensive repairs that began on June 29. The works included asphalt and structural repairs, as well as cleaning and maintenance of the tram station. Public transport services have returned to normal, with several tram lines resuming their routes. The local administration highlighted the need for these repairs, as the passage had not been maintained for 15 years. Additional minor works will continue without affecting traffic.
