New images of Lot 1 A0 Nord show that the first road markings have been made, with a partial opening expected this autumn. The construction is being carried out by the Italian-Romanian consortium Pizzarotti – Retter, with significant progress noted on the segment between DN1A and DN1. However, delays have been reported on the second sector. The Pro Infrastructură Association highlighted that while the technical completion of the segment is feasible by the end of September, bureaucratic hurdles may delay the official opening. The entire route spans 17.5 kilometers, with ongoing work needed to meet the December 2026 inauguration deadline.
