The mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Băluță, discussed the criteria for selecting buildings for thermal rehabilitation and future plans during a neighborhood meeting. He highlighted that Sector 4 secured 80% of EU funds for these projects, starting with buildings on major boulevards due to safety concerns following serious incidents. Additionally, funds were allocated for disadvantaged areas like Reșița and Luică through a social exclusion program. Băluță mentioned that other buildings are part of a delayed investment program, with plans to start work in February next year, depending on the funds received, as they have requested 300 million euros.
