Starting August 25, traffic is allowed again through Unirii Square between Splaiul Independenței and Bulevardul Corneliu Coposu, as announced by Sector 4 Mayor Daniel Băluță. This reopening facilitates direct east-west access across the square, improving traffic flow for many commuters. Although the road is now open, summer restrictions remain in place. Construction continues, with 15 out of 19 segments of the new structure completed, and the fourth phase expected to finish before the school year starts. Drivers should remain cautious due to ongoing work and new road markings.
