Cristian Pistol, head of CNAIR, announced the breakthrough of the first gallery of the Boița 1 tunnel on the Sibiu-Pitești A1 highway. The construction progress is at about 30%, with ongoing work on two other tunnels. However, only 45% of the planned works can proceed due to missing environmental agreements and construction permits. The project includes seven tunnels and is financed through the Transport Program, totaling 4.25 billion lei.
