Negoescu stated he has no further knowledge of events after the introductions. The Georgescu family moved to a property in Argeș in 2021 and later sold it in 2023. Leu alleges he paid over a million euros for a promised loan that never materialized, which he claims was intended to fund Georgescu's presidential campaign. Investigators believe the funds were used for electoral purposes.
