The reception commission will start work on the A3 highway section Zimbor–Poarta Sălajului, which is nearly complete. The construction team is finalizing the last tasks, including installing safety barriers. Once opened, traffic will access this 12.24 km stretch via Zimbor and Românași interchanges. The A3 project, which aims to connect Bucharest to the Borș II border, is at various completion stages. The southern section is fully operational, while the central segment faces bureaucratic delays. The connection between Brașov and Târgu Mureș has been abandoned, and the northern section is partially open with plans for further expansions by 2026. Full completion of the entire corridor is expected by 2031.
