Brașov police are conducting searches in Ilfov and Bucharest related to a fraud case involving over 1 million euros in damages. Four individuals are under investigation for serious fraud, concealment, and forgery. The suspects allegedly took control of two legitimate companies and ordered goods from 30 individuals, issuing bounced payment orders. Previous searches in 2026 led to the seizure of goods worth approximately 147,500 lei, with preventive measures taken against four suspects, two of whom were detained. The operation is supported by various police units.
