On the night of October 3-4, 2026, the Capital Police, along with local police and social services, conducted a large-scale operation across all six sectors of Bucharest. The aim was to enhance public safety, prevent antisocial acts, and assist vulnerable individuals. The operation involved checking crowded areas and enforcing laws related to public order and substance use. Results included over 260 individuals checked, 34 fines totaling 18,397 lei, and two criminal offenses identified. Additionally, three individuals were directed to social assistance services. The police plan to continue such integrated actions to ensure community safety.
