The Comarnic Beltway is set to open soon, providing an alternative route from Bucharest to the mountains and alleviating traffic on the Prahova Valley. State Secretary Irinel Ionel Scrioșteanu shared updates and images of the nearly completed road, which spans 6 kilometers and includes two roundabouts at intersections with DN1. The project, costing over 470 million lei, was funded by European and state funds and aims to enhance road infrastructure in the area. Despite previous delays, the road is expected to open by the end of September. Other ongoing projects include the Azuga-Bușteni Beltway and several road overpasses on DN1.
