The National Company Bucharest Airports received eight bids for the construction of a new "Long Term" parking facility with four levels and 795 parking spaces. This parking will be located near the Henri Coandă Airport train station, providing direct access to DN1. To expedite construction, the company may request 24-hour work schedules, including nights and weekends. The project is expected to be completed within two years, with an estimated cost of around 12 million euros. Several companies are participating in the bidding process, including Construcții Erbaşu and Drum Asfalt. Additionally, a new four-level parking facility with 1,019 spaces will soon be opened near the arrivals building.
