The first section of the National Park has reopened after rehabilitation works, as announced by Sector 2 Mayor Rareș Hopincă. The area between Maior Coravu Street and the Parachuting Tower is now accessible to the public. While some finishing touches are still needed, playgrounds and pathways have been improved, and lighting has been restored. Sports facilities are being updated, with the basketball court operational and the football field expected to open next week. The entire central area of the park is set to open by September 30, with further renovations planned until January 2027. Hopincă also addressed community inquiries regarding other parks and promised to clean the park's lake.
