The mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Băluță, announced a project for a new access route to the Unirii metro stations, in collaboration with PMB and Metrorex. He discussed the lifting of restrictions in the Unirii area and the ongoing construction works. Additionally, plans for a new tram line connecting existing infrastructure were revealed, with construction expected to start in 2028. Băluță emphasized that the works will not disrupt traffic or pedestrian flow.
