Corneliu Ștefan, the president of Dâmbovița County Council, highlighted its importance for future athletes. The stadium, built on a historic military site, represents a major investment of 271 million lei, with contributions from the county council. Following its inauguration, Târgoviște will have two modern stadiums, enhancing its sports infrastructure despite having only one football team currently.
