Starting today at 16:00, a new highway segment allows travel from Bucharest to Bacau exclusively via high-speed road. The A7 segment between Adjud and Bacau Sud, built by UMB, spans 47.10 km. Initially, the highway will connect Bucharest to the Bacau bypass, with plans for further extension. This development marks a significant milestone in the long-awaited Moldova Highway project, which has been in discussion for over 30 years. The complete route combines A3 and A7 highways, enabling a 300 km journey in about 2 hours.
