However, the single-lane road is unlikely to significantly alleviate traffic on DN1, as congestion may shift to nearby areas like Sinaia and Bușteni. The 6-kilometer bypass aims to reduce traffic pressure on DN1, connecting to it via two roundabouts. The project includes complex infrastructure works, such as bridges and a 380-meter overpass over the Prahova River and the railway, intended to improve traffic flow to the mountainous region.
