STB celebrates the 17th anniversary of the first Bucur LF tram, which introduced a low-floor design in Bucharest's public transport. Initially launched in 2009 on line 21, the tram was designed at URAC and became popular among locals, earning the nickname "Obama." Over the years, 16 additional Bucur LF trams were built, with the latest modernization featuring improved comfort and accessibility. After a hiatus, the tram returned to service in 2025, continuing to evolve in the capital.
