Romsilva has established forest belts along the A2 highway to protect against severe weather, covering over 337 hectares. These green barriers are designed to shield roads from snow and wind, enhancing road safety. The project utilizes a variety of tree species suited to local conditions, demonstrating significant ecological and economic benefits. Since 2018, more than 200 hectares have been planted, showcasing the effectiveness of natural solutions over traditional barriers.
