A new 6-kilometer bypass road around Comarnic is set to open, aimed at alleviating traffic congestion on DN1. The project, which includes new bridges and a viaduct, has faced delays but is nearing completion. The expected opening date is August 31, according to Transport Secretary Horațiu Cosma. Long-term solutions for traffic issues in the area include the planned Comarnic-Brașov highway, which is currently in the design phase.
