CFR Infrastructură has showcased progress on speed restriction removal works on nearly 77 kilometers of railway in Brașov region. The Quick Wins project aims to enhance railway efficiency by replacing structural components on several lines. Benefits include the elimination of speed restrictions, reduced operational costs, and improved safety. By 2026, 628.35 km of railway is expected to be rehabilitated. In 2025, 96.037 km were received and 305 km were operational, with some sections allowing speeds of up to 100 km/h. Key projects include significant upgrades in Timișoara, Iași, Craiova, Bucharest, and Cluj.
