Firefighting efforts in Domogled National Park continued over the weekend, involving both ground and aerial operations. The IGSU reported that three Black Hawk helicopters conducted 205 water drops from Lake Prisaca, adapting missions based on fire front developments and safety conditions. Over 120 personnel from various agencies participated in ground interventions, facing challenging terrain that complicated access. As of Monday, more than 130 responders are actively working to contain the fire, with aerial support continuing from the IGAV helicopters, including one from the rescEU mechanism.
