The Uszoda sports complex in Timișoara, established in 1926, is undergoing restoration led by volunteers and the Ambulance for Monuments Banat. The building was in severe disrepair, but recent efforts have uncovered original windows and restored its historical features. The project, funded by the Timișoara City Hall, aims to revitalize the site with cultural programs and community activities. Future phases will continue restoration and repurpose the pools for cultural events instead of water activities. The complex has transitioned from the Ministry of Education to the Timișoara City Hall, which has already initiated cleanup efforts and sports facilities.
