A planned urban forest on Marginei Street in Bucharest was supposed to be established by fall 2024, but no progress has been made. Clotilde Armand, former mayor and current senator, highlighted the situation in a recent video, urging the current administration to revive the project. The initiative, which included 73,000 saplings and funding of 1.33 million lei, was part of a European project but was later removed from the funding program. Only four urban forests remain in the final plan across the country.
