VIDEO | Evenimentul Profides din Piața Victoriei, între manifestare religioasă și concert. Grupul de Inițiativă Civică Kiseleff cere explicații de la PMB • Știri București
On October 3, an event organized by the Christian Center Profides in Victoriei Square raises questions about its administrative classification and the tax paid for public space use. The Civic Initiative Group Kiseleff is seeking clarification from the City Hall regarding whether the event, which includes a religious component and a four-hour Christian music concert, falls under the applicable regulations. They want to know if the organizers paid the required fee of 141,359 lei for such events and, if not, the legal basis for this exemption. The group emphasizes that their inquiry is administrative, focusing on public space usage rules rather than contesting the organization's right to express its faith. Additionally, complaints from local residents about loud music and vibrations have been reported, highlighting concerns about noise disturbance during the event.
