Starting next week, traffic will open on the A7 highway between Adjud and Bacău Sud, covering over 47 kilometers. The official inauguration is set for August 31 at 16:00, as confirmed by CNAIR director Cristian Pistol. This new section will connect Bucharest to Bacău, enhancing economic prospects for Moldova. Following the opening, drivers will have access to 241.62 km of the total 319 km of A7, with ongoing works funded by PNRR. The prime minister noted that after the new segment opens, there will be over 300 km of high-speed road from Bucharest to beyond Bacău, with additional sections under construction.
