The Brăila-Galați Expressway is over 97% complete, with the Siret River bridge being the final structure. The Romanian contractor UMB is working to ensure traffic opens by the end of this year. The bridge, a unique structure in Romania, is being constructed with nine segments, each weighing 90 tons. Despite previous delays, the project is expected to be inaugurated in October 2023, connecting significant regions of Romania.
