The construction of the Brăila-Galați Express Road (DEx6) is nearing completion, with the last section of the metal deck for the Siret bridge installed. The 165-ton section was positioned using a heavy-duty crane. Following the welding of the deck, several steps remain, including securing it, installing prefabricated slabs, and applying asphalt. The bridge spans 1,790 meters and is part of a 10.76 km project, with physical progress at 97%. The contract, valued at 449.42 million lei, is funded through the 2021-2027 Transport Program. DEx6 will enhance connectivity between major cities and boost economic development in southeastern and northeastern Romania.
